About

The Restaurant at The Park Inn is seasonally focused, with an emphasis on locally produced and sourced ingredients for all of its offerings. Our fully modernized kitchen is directed by Chef Dan Eaton, who had a 20-year professional cooking career in Rochester, NY working his way up through the ranks at Rooney’s, 2Vine, Rio Bamba, Tonic and Pearl.

The Park Inn complements Chef Eaton’s locally focused cuisine with a 200+ selection wine list directed by Sommelier Jason Ferris, who brings more than 25 years of experience in beverage and restaurant management to the region, highlighted by sommelier positions at multiple Michelin-starred destinations in New York City as well as stints among the culinary elite of San Francisco, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. The Park Inn’s wine list splits its focus between both the Finger Lakes and international regions renowned for the cool climate wines our region emulates. The wine list offers bottle selections, wines by the glass, and flights of wines that give guests the opportunity to compare and contrast local favorites with international classics.

The bar at The Park Inn is a piece of Hammondsport history, showcasing original crafted woodwork, inlays, and style. The craft cocktail menu focuses on well-executed classics and house specialties that incorporate locally sourced seasonal ingredients such as fruits, herbs and purees. The beer selection offers a diverse range of traditional and modern styles, with an eye toward local and regional brews. From crispy pilsners and robust IPAs to craft ciders and sours, the beer selection has something to satisfy brew enthusiasts.

Our full dining menu is also available at our bar, offering the perfect chance for a more social dining environment or just a quick bite while stopping through. The Restaurant’s 60-seat dining area is split into two intimate rooms. Both rooms feature historical and modernized decorative touches, including local artifacts, black and white photography, and a mural wall preserved from 1929. The dining room’s approachable feel and warm service style offers guests a comfortable yet elegant place to sample, savor, and celebrate all the flavors the Finger Lakes Region has to offer.
